Reading & Writing
ALL instruction takes place in small groups, giving each child the individualized attention they need to learn & succeed

Build strong phonemic and phonological awareness using the highly respected Heggerty Curriculum.

Students learn rhyming, breaking words into individual sounds, identifying sounds at the beginning, middle, and end of words, breaking words into syllables, and word play.

Students will participate in the research-based Fundations Phonics and Reading Curriculum, a multisensory structured literacy program rooted in the Science of Reading.

Students will master all letter names and sounds.

Students will learn to decode and read a variety of words and leave as confident readers.

Students will learn to write their first and last name, develop handwriting skills, spelling, and writing sentences.
Mathematics

Students will develop essential foundational mathematics skills through the research-based Singapore Math Curriculum.

The Singapore Math approach starts with hands-on learning, moving to visual models, and then builds to abstract problem-solving.

Identifying numbers from 0 to 20.

Counting to 100 by ones, and skip counting by tens and fives.

Identifying shapes and patterns.

Solve basic addition and subtraction.

Understand basic money, telling time by the hour, and weight and capacity.

All of these outcomes are achieved through interactive games, physical movement, and hands-on learning.
Science, Social Studies, Arts

Students will explore hands-on science, learn about community helpers, and discover their creativity through art.
Character Building

Students will learn about our 3 C’s; Curious, Confident, Caring—we help children build strong social skills and develop positive character traits that will guide them for life.
