Life Skills & Science Life Skills
-
We explore a new A–Z science or life skill theme that connects to our letter of the week—whether it’s dinosaurs, baking, astronomy, farms, robots, outer space, and more!
Reading & Writing
-
Students learn rhyming, clapping out syllables, and playing with sounds—building a strong foundation for reading through our Heggerty Curriculum.
-
Students will master all letter names and letter sounds through the research-based Fundations Phonics and Reading Curriculum, a multisensory structured literacy program rooted in the Science of Reading.
-
Students will learn to decode and read a variety of words and leave as confident readers.
-
Students will learn to write their first and last name, develop handwriting skills, spelling, and write simple sentences.
Mathematics
-
Students will develop essential foundational mathematics skills.
-
Our approach starts with hands-on learning, moving to visual models, and then builds to abstract problem-solving.
-
Identifying numbers from 0 to 20.
-
Counting to 100 by ones, and skip counting by tens and fives.
-
Identifying shapes and patterns.

All of these outcomes are achieved through interactive games, physical movement, and hands-on learning.
STEAM
STEAM Fridays at CCA
-
Every Friday, our classrooms transform into hands-on STEAM labs where curiosity leads the way!
-
Our preschoolers become little builders, scientists, artists, and problem-solvers as they explore fun experiments, creative projects, and hands-on activities that make learning come alive.
-
These special days give children the chance to explore, build, and imagine in exciting new ways, all while developing teamwork, confidence, and a love for learning.
Character Building
-
Students will learn about our 3 C’s; Curious, Confident, Caring—we help children build strong social skills and develop positive character traits that will guide them for life.
-
We believe deeply in the power of imaginative play to spark creativity and build social-emotional skills.
-
Every child receives a learning experience tailored to their individual needs and growth.
